Bagaimana sih caranya ngeprint dokumen word, excel, PDF ataupun powerpoint dari Blackberry Dakota, Blackbery Torch ataupun Blackberry lainnya? Sebenarnya ada beberapa cara untuk kita bisa print dokumen langsung dari Blackberry tanpa harus mengcopy dulu dokumen tersebut ke Laptop atau Netbook?

Alternatif pertama adalah memanfaatkan layanan online, atau dikenal dengan remote Print, dimana kita menginstall sebuah aplikasi seperti dari Cortado atau Aplikasi Print untuk Blackberry seperti Remote Print for Blackberry, yang diperlukan untuk proses print ini adalah sebuah Laptop yang terkoneksi ke internet, sebuah printer biasa yang terhubung ke laptop dan tentunya sebuah aplikasi kecil yang diinstal di laptop.

Cara Backup SMS, Notes dan Kontak di BDS (Blackberry Desktop Software)

Ketika akan melakukan Wipe Handheld atau memformat ulang Blackberry Anda ke factory default, satu yang menjadi perhatian adalah bagaimana membackup data seperti phonebook, notes atau SMS di Blackberry, sehingga pas nanti selesai di Wipe Anda bisa kembali me-restore data-data tersebut ke Blackberry.

Untuk proses Backup menggunakan BDS atau Blackberry Desktop Software caranya cukup mudah yaitu sambungkan Blackberry ke Laptop, jalankan Blackberry Desktop Software dan tunggu sampai BDS selesai mendetect. Selanjutnya Anda lihat di Sidebar sebelah kiri ada menu Application,  Organizer sampai Mobile Sync. Lihat pada nama Blackberry yang terletak di atas menu Application, klik nama Blackberry tersebut, misal Blackberry Bold Touch 9900 atau Blackberry Curve Javelin, setelah itu kemudian klik Backup Now.

Saat masuk ke Backup Option, Anda bisa memilih apakah akan melakukan full backup yang artinya semua data di Blackberry akan di Backup, atau Custom dimana Anda bisa memilih data apa saja yang  akan dibackup.

Apple Going After ‘iPhone’ Porn Domains

Apple is not shy when it comes to protecting its name. The company has pursued a variety of companies with Apple-esque domain names, including appleoslion.com and ipods.com, but it is now setting its sights on porn domains with "iPhone" in the title.

According to Domain Name Wire, Apple filed a complaint with the World Intellectual Property Forum (WIPO) over seven domain names that include the word "iPhone" and redirect to adult Web sites.

That includes: iphonecamforce.com, iphonecam4s.com, iphoneporn4s.com, iphonesex4s.com, iphonexxxforce.com, iphone4s.com, and porn4iphones.com.

As DNW pointed out, the iphone4s.com domain (warning: don't type that in at work), the name of the latest iPhone, is probably most troubling since users are likely to type that in.

WIPO did not immediately respond to a request for comment, but Apple has filed multiple complaints with the organization over infringing domain names.

Earlier this year, Apple went after the owner of several iPod-related domains, including ipods.com, appleipods.com, and ipodhack.com, as well as iphhone.com, and iphine.com. The company won that complaint in July.

In May, Apple successfully obtained the apple-downloads.com and apple-oem.com domain names. In March, Apple also won the rights to appleoslion.com, appleosxlion.com, macoslion.com, macosxleo.com, macosxleon.com, and macosxlion.com. Last year, it was awarded appl.com and aplle.com.

Toshiba adds to Ultrabook laptop

Toshiba has announced two new laptops designed for those for whom portability is a key requirement.

The Portégé Z830 and the Satellite Z830 are light and slim, with long battery life and SSD storage.

The Portégé Z830 weighs 1.12kg and is 8.3mm thick; it also has a 13.3" LED display.

It also uses the latest generation of Intel processors, the Core i3 or Core i5, which have been designed specifically for very lightweight, slim laptops called Ultrabooks. These laptops have no optical drives for CDs and DVDs.

Being Ultrabooks, both the Portégé and the Satellite use SSD storage rather than traditional hard-disks; the SSDs help improve battery life and also speed-up boot-times and loading. All models come with 128GB SSDs.

The Portégé also has USB 3.0 connectivity, an SD card slot and an HDMI port. Toshiba claim it will run for eight hours from a single charge. All models of the Portégé come with 64bit versions of Windows 7 Home Premium or Windows 7 Professional and can support up to 6GB of memory..

The Satellite Z830, is a laptop aimed at students and families. The Satellite runs the 64bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium.

The Toshiba Portégé Z830 and Satellite Z830 will be available from the end of November 2011. Prices range from £900 to £1100.
