Alternatif pertama adalah memanfaatkan layanan online, atau dikenal dengan remote Print, dimana kita menginstall sebuah aplikasi seperti dari Cortado atau Aplikasi Print untuk Blackberry seperti Remote Print for Blackberry, yang diperlukan untuk proses print ini adalah sebuah Laptop yang terkoneksi ke internet, sebuah printer biasa yang terhubung ke laptop dan tentunya sebuah aplikasi kecil yang diinstal di laptop.

Cara Backup SMS, Notes dan Kontak di BDS (Blackberry Desktop Software)

Ketika akan melakukan Wipe Handheld atau memformat ulang Blackberry Anda ke factory default, satu yang menjadi perhatian adalah bagaimana membackup data seperti phonebook, notes atau SMS di Blackberry, sehingga pas nanti selesai di Wipe Anda bisa kembali me-restore data-data tersebut ke Blackberry.

Untuk proses Backup menggunakan BDS atau Blackberry Desktop Software caranya cukup mudah yaitu sambungkan Blackberry ke Laptop, jalankan Blackberry Desktop Software dan tunggu sampai BDS selesai mendetect. Selanjutnya Anda lihat di Sidebar sebelah kiri ada menu Application,  Organizer sampai Mobile Sync. Lihat pada nama Blackberry yang terletak di atas menu Application, klik nama Blackberry tersebut, misal Blackberry Bold Touch 9900 atau Blackberry Curve Javelin, setelah itu kemudian klik Backup Now.

Saat masuk ke Backup Option, Anda bisa memilih apakah akan melakukan full backup yang artinya semua data di Blackberry akan di Backup, atau Custom dimana Anda bisa memilih data apa saja yang  akan dibackup.
